In the 2015-16 school year, Maricopa County Community College District has already alerted members of the Paradise Valley Community College campus of two local registered sex offenders moving into the area of 32nd st and Bell, and a level 2 sex offender found roaming the campus in January.

Although Phoenix has a fairly average crime rate, and Paradise Valley has a fairly low crime rate, violent crime can happen anywhere, anytime and anyplace. Ladies, it is time to be prepared.

Stylish weapons are not only fun to carry, but could potentially be unnoticed by the criminal, providing the element of surprise. Weapons that hook onto a keychain, or are simply slipped into a pocket, could make being prepared more convenient and more effective.

“Women on Guard” and “Bling Sting” have both dedicated themselves to providing high fashion weapons, that are understated while also heightening style.

Pretty weapons are not only fun to carry but could potentially be unnoticed by the criminal, providing the element of surprise in a counter attack. Weapons that hook onto a keychain or are simply slipped into a pocket make being prepared to defend yourself both convenient and effective.

Here are 7 High Fashion Weapons that will do the job:

1. The “Bling Sting Pepper Spray”

This refillable pepper spray container can easily be mistaken for travel size perfume, but also is a stylish way to take safety to the next level.

2. Lipstick/perfume pepper spray

This product from “Women On Guard” is perfect in case an attacker were to get the keys out of the victim’s hands. It is perfect for keeping close to the body for instant backup. This item is also available in a 3.5-million volt taser.

4.  Cell phone Taser

Another self-defense gadget that can fit into a pocket or purse is a taser disguised as a cell phone. Simply pull out the “phone” when you feel nervous. Who would expect 6 million volts to be on a text?

5. Ahh-larm Panic Alarm

It looks like nothing but a glittery, heart-shaped keychain, but is in fact an ear screeching 120 decibel alarm that will sound instantly by the push of a button.

 6. A squeezable 21 million volt  taser with a pretty design comes with an alarm and wrist band, which contains a disable pin so that the attacker cannot use the taser on the victim.
