These super simple pretzel bites are sure to impress with their gooey caramel coating and melt- in-your- mouth chocolate topping, the perfect salty meets sweet snack. Peppermint bark is a timeless holiday treat that has everyone reaching for more with its smooth white chocolate base and the extra peppermint crunch. Cinnamon spiced walnuts are the perfect little goodie to have out on the table for everyone to snack on. Puppy chow is another classic treat that will never go out of style, and with a Christmas twist, it’s perfect for simple and fun gift giving.

The holidays are a time to spend with family and not spend on stressing over what to bake for everyone. Here are a few simple and fun recipes to put everyone in the holiday cheer.


Peppermint Bark

What you need:

12 ounces of any melting white chocolate

10 ounces of candy cane crunch

Directions:

Step one: Melt your white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. (It is best to melt your chocolate in increments of 30 seconds)

Step two: Spread white chocolate on a 9×13 pan and then sprinkle on desired amount of peppermint pieces. (You could also use a bigger pan if you desire thinner pieces of bark)

Step three: Put in your fridge and let stand for an hour

Step four: Break into little pieces

Pretzel bites

What you need:

1 bag of mini pretzels

1 bag of kraft caramels

Milk chocolate or dark chocolate if you prefer

Christmas sprinkles

Instructions:

Step one: preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step two: Place pretzels on baking sheet that is set with wax paper

Step three: place caramels on pretzel and then place in oven for 5 minutes

Step four: Once you take pretzels out, gently push down on the caramel.

Step five: Melt your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl

Step six: Dip half or full pretzel in melted chocolate

Step seven: sprinkle your pretzel bites and then let sit

Spiced Walnuts

What you need:

½ cup of sugar

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

1 lb of walnuts (you can also use pecans or do a mix)

1 tablespoon of water

1 egg white

Instructions:

Step one: Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Step two: With 1 tablespoon of water beat the egg white

Step three: Dip your walnuts into the egg white

Step four: Combine all dry ingredients into a mixing bowl

Step five: stir in your walnuts

Step six: Place nuts on a baking sheet and let cook for one hour (stir every 10-15 minutes)

Christmas puppy chow

What you need:

1 bag of mini pretzels

2 cups of Chex cereal

1 cup of cashews

2 bags of green and red M&Ms

2 cups of popcorn

24 ounces of melting white chocolate

12 ounces of melting chocolate

Instructions:

Step one: Combine pretzels, Chex, cashews, M&Ms and popcorn in a large bowl

Step two: Melt your white chocolate then pour over your mixed snacks and make sure every piece is covered

Step three: Lay your puppy chow on wax paper

Step four: melt your chocolate and then drizzle over puppy chow

Step five: Let sit for 20 minutes
